Meet Peanut, the Leaf Chaser Extraordinaire!
This month’s star is Peanut, a playful and lovable Labrador who has truly embraced the fall season. Peanut’s favorite pastime is diving headfirst into every leaf pile he can find, sending leaves flying in all directions with pure joy! His enthusiasm for chasing leaves and rolling around in them has made him the neighborhood’s unofficial “Autumn Ambassador.”
When Peanut isn’t busy scattering leaves, he loves long walks through the crunchy, colorful foliage and greeting every neighbor (and their dogs!) with a friendly tail wag. His owners say that Peanut’s energy and love for life bring extra warmth to their home during the cooler months. He’s also a big fan of pumpkin-flavored dog treats, which, according to his owners, he thoroughly enjoys after a good romp in the yard.
We look forward to seeing Peanut every week, as his playful spirit and boundless energy make every yard cleanup an absolute treat. Here’s to Peanut and all the fall adventures yet to come!

With winter right around the corner, it’s time to get our pets (and ourselves) ready for the colder months. Here are a few tips to make sure your four-legged family members are safe, comfy, and visible as the season changes:
- Stay Warm: Even a short walk can feel frosty for short-haired or senior dogs. A light jacket will make a big difference in keeping them warm and comfortable.
- More Visible Walks: Daylight hours are dwindling, so reflective collars, harnesses, or LED leashes are must-haves for those early morning or evening walks. Let’s keep your pup safe and visible to all.
- Mind Those Paws: Salt on sidewalks and cold ground can be tough on your pet’s paws. Use a pet-safe paw balm to keep their pads moisturized, and try rinsing their paws after walks to remove any salt or chemicals.
- Indoor Entertainment: Keep your pet engaged even if outdoor time is limited—think puzzle toys, treat dispensers, or indoor games to keep them mentally stimulated and happy!
