Pet of the Month:Daisy the Springtime Star!
Meet Daisy, a five-year-old Shih Tzu with a flair for fashion and a heart as big as her bow collection. This little diva has made quite the name for herself in her Madison neighborhood, especially since spring arrived. Her favorite outfit? A custom pastel tutu paired with a flower hairclip that she proudly wears during her daily 3pm promenade around the block.
According to her human, Melissa, Daisy has a built-in fashion clock. “She starts pawing at her closet drawer around 2:45 every afternoon, barking until I get her ‘runway-ready.’ If we’re late, the neighbors actually notice—and ask where Daisy is!”
Daisy’s fan club includes the mail carrier (who brings her liver treats), a local toddler named Sophie who insists on high-fiving her every walk, and an elderly golden retriever named Rufus who seems utterly smitten.
But don’t let the glam fool you—Daisy’s got a practical side too. She refuses to walk through a yard unless it’s freshly cleaned. “If there’s poop in her path, she’ll stop, stare at me, and then dramatically walk around it like she’s dodging a puddle,” Melissa laughs. “That’s why we love Reporting For Doody.
