Pet of the Month: Bella – The Backyard Boss
Meet Bella, our August superstar! Bella is a 5-year-old Golden Retriever who takes her job as Chief Yard Supervisor very seriously. Every week when our team arrives, she trots out with her tennis ball like she’s the CEO giving us the morning briefing. Bella’s family shared that she even does a little “patrol” after we leave—sniffing every corner to make sure the job meets her golden standards.
Her humans say Bella’s favorite thing about clean yards? Zoomies without the yuckies! She loves racing around the yard without any “hidden surprises.” Bella, you truly make our work worth wagging about!

Hydration is everything – Always keep fresh water available, especially during walks.
Avoid hot surfaces – Asphalt and concrete can burn those sensitive paws. Use the 7-second rule: if you can’t hold your hand on the pavement for 7 seconds, it’s too hot for your dog.
Watch for heatstroke signs – Heavy panting, drooling, and lethargy can be serious. Move your pup to a cool spot and offer water immediately.
