Spring Has Sprung (and So Has the Poop 💩)
Hello April!
The flowers are blooming, the sun is finally showing up more often… and let’s be honest—your yard is revealing everything winter tried to hide.
If you’ve stepped outside recently and thought, “Was that always there?” — don’t worry, you’re not alone 😂
Spring is basically nature’s way of saying:
“Surprise! Time for a cleanup.”
Good news? That’s exactly what we’re here for.

Pet of the Month: Meet Charlie
Last month, Charlie completely stole our hearts during one of our visits—and honestly, we’re still talking about him.
From the moment we pulled up, Charlie was already on “duty.” You know that look dogs give when they’re pretending to be serious but are actually just excited? Yeah… that was him. Tail wagging like crazy, but still trying to act like the official yard supervisor.
As soon as we got started, Charlie made sure to stay close—doing his usual rounds, sniff checks, and the occasional “quality inspection.” Every step we took, he was right there beside us making sure we were doing the job just right (we love a hands-on manager 😂).
At one point, he even sat down and just watched for a bit, like, “Alright, carry on… I’m observing.” Then out of nowhere—zoomies. Full sprint across the yard like he just remembered he’s still a puppy at heart.
What really stood out though was how he greeted us. It wasn’t just excitement—it felt familiar, like we weren’t just there to work, but part of his routine already. That kind of trust means everything to us.
Moments like that are the reason we love what we do. It’s not just about keeping yards clean—it’s about building that connection with your pups, visit after visit.
Shoutout to Charlie for being March’s MVP (Most Valuable Pup). 💚
We’ll see you again soon, boss. 🐾
Industry News:
Why Spring Cleanup Matters More Than You Think

As the snow melts and yards thaw out, pet waste that’s been sitting for weeks (or months 👀) starts to resurface—and it’s more than just an eyesore.
What many people don’t realize is that pet waste doesn’t just “go away” over time. Instead, it breaks down slowly, releasing bacteria into the soil and, in some cases, even washing into nearby water systems during heavy spring rains. That means what’s in your yard doesn’t always stay in your yard.
Pet waste can carry bacteria and parasites like roundworms and hookworms, which can affect both pets and humans. These can linger in the ground long after the waste is gone, especially in damp conditions—exactly what spring brings. Dogs can easily pick them up while sniffing or playing, and in some cases, they can even be transferred indoors.
For families with kids, this becomes even more important. Playing outside, running barefoot, or just spending more time in the yard increases the chances of exposure if the area hasn’t been properly cleaned.
There’s also the impact on your lawn itself. Built-up waste can burn grass, create patchy spots, and leave behind odors that don’t just disappear overnight. A proper cleanup helps your yard recover faster and stay healthier throughout the season.
Spring cleanup isn’t just about making your yard look good—it’s about protecting your space, your pets, and your family.
More sunshine = more outdoor time
Cleaner yard = a safer, healthier experience for you and your pup 🐾

Meet Ben, your pup’s new best friend (and your yard’s new hero). 🐾
We’re excited to officially welcome Ben to the Reporting For Doody team!
Ben is a co-owner of a pet photography business with his wife, where he’s built a real passion for working with animals and connecting with fellow dog lovers. He’s especially great at helping dogs feel comfortable and bringing out their unique personalities—something we know your pups will appreciate during every visit.
When he’s not working, Ben enjoys playing drums at his church, staying active outdoors, and spending time with his three-year-old mini goldendoodle, Bambi (yes, we already love her).
We’re all about bringing you dependable, friendly, and dog-loving service—and Ben fits right in.

Let’s talk about the big one.
Our Spring Clean-Up Service is designed to fully reset your yard after winter does what it does best—hide everything until it all shows up at once.
