How do I start service?+
Getting started is easy — just grab a free quote on our website, and we'll reach out to confirm your details and schedule your first pickup. No contracts, no hassle.
What is your "Doody-Free Guarantee?"+
If you're ever unsatisfied with a visit, let us know within 24 hours and we'll come back to make it right — no questions asked. We want your yard to be spotless every single time.
Are there any contracts?+
Nope! All of our plans are month-to-month. No long-term commitments, no cancellation fees. We earn your business every visit.
Do I need to be home?+
Not at all! Most of our customers aren't home when we come by. As long as we can access your yard (unlocked gate, key code, etc.), we'll handle everything and let you know when we're done.
What areas do you serve?+
We serve the greater Madison, WI area — including Sun Prairie, Middleton, Fitchburg, Verona, Waunakee, DeForest, and many more — plus the Beaver Dam and Waupun areas. Visit our Service Areas page for the full list of 27 cities we serve.
Are you insured?+
Absolutely. Reporting For Doody is fully insured for your peace of mind.

Scheduling

Do you work year-round?+
We sure do. Dog waste doesn't take a vacation, and neither do we. We scoop through rain, snow, and everything Wisconsin weather throws at us.
Can I choose my service day?+
We do our best to accommodate your preferred day! When you sign up, let us know your preference and we'll match it to our route schedule. Changes can be requested anytime through the customer portal.
Do you work in poor weather?+
We work through light rain and normal Wisconsin winters. In severe weather (lightning, ice storms, dangerous conditions), we'll reschedule to the nearest available day and let you know in advance.
Do you work on holidays?+
We observe the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. If your service day falls on a holiday, we'll reschedule to the closest available day.
Can you work with pets present?+
Yes! Non-aggressive dogs are welcome to stay in the yard during service. If your dog is reactive or aggressive toward strangers, we ask that you secure them during our visit for everyone's safety.
What if I want to skip a day?+
No problem — just give us at least 24 hours' notice through your customer portal or by calling us, and we'll skip that visit. No charge for skipped services with proper notice.
What about missed days due to weather?+
If we can't make it due to severe weather, we'll reschedule within the same week when possible. You're never charged for a visit we couldn't complete due to weather.

Billing

What payment methods do you accept?+
We accept all major credit and debit cards through Stripe, our secure payment processor. You can manage your payment method anytime through your customer portal.
When am I billed?+
Invoices are generated on the 1st of each month for the previous month's service. You'll receive an email with your invoice and can view it in your customer portal.
When is payment due?+
Payment is due within 7 days of your invoice date. A $10 late fee applies to invoices not paid within 7 days. We send friendly reminders before any late fee is applied.
Is automatic billing available?+
Yes! You can set up autopay through your customer portal so you never have to think about it. Your card on file will be charged automatically when your invoice is generated.

What do you do with the waste?+
All collected waste is double-bagged and removed from your property. We dispose of it responsibly — your yard is left clean and your trash cans stay waste-free.
Is the deodorizer safe for my dogs?+
Absolutely. Our enzyme-based deodorizer is pet-safe and child-safe. It breaks down organic matter naturally and leaves no harmful residue. Your pets can return to the yard immediately after service.
