The Origin Story

Reporting For Doody was founded in 2019 by Thomas Dietz after 8 years of service in the U.S. Air Force. Stationed at the 115th Fighter Wing in Madison, WI, Thomas the values that would define his business: discipline, reliability, and always leaving things better than you found them.
After transitioning from military service, Thomas came home to Sun Prairie, WI with his wife and their Goldendoodle, Snoop. One look at the backyard was all it took. The mess was real, and so was the idea. If his own yard needed help, he knew his neighbors' yards did too.
What started as a conversation about a messy yard became a full-service dog waste removal company trusted by hundreds of families across South Central Wisconsin. As Thomas likes to say: “We take a lot of crap from our customers!”
Based in Sun Prairie, WI and fully insured since day one, we serve year-round: rain, snow, or shine. Our mascot, Sergeant Doody, embodies everything we stand for: loyalty, precision, and always showing up ready for duty.
